The Hilo Junior Tennis Club is looking for new members.

The club has lessons and drills most Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 4-6 p.m. at Edith Kanaka’ole Multipurpose Stadium, and on most Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Members range in age from 5 to 18, and according to a release the purpose of the club “is to promote education, youth and health development through tennis, develop programs for junior tennis and to promote tournament play, to provide juniors with an organization to belong to and identify with; to stress etiquette and cooperation; and to provide players with competition, fellowship and recognition among their peers.”

The calendar of lesson and drill days and a membership application can be found in the club’s information box at the Edith Kanaka’ole Multipurpose Stadium.
